September Edition of "The Way I See It" by Afa the Wild Samoan
Hello Chatterboxers, I hope everyone had a great summer and are enjoying the fall. I am proud to introduce to the wrestling world my niece Sarona Snuka - Polamalu. She is the very first woman in this family to become a professional wrestler.

Sarona Snuka is a second generation wrestler, the daughter of WWE Hall of Fame legend Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka. Her heritage is of Fijian, Samoan and Tongan descendants.

Sarona was blessed with great genetics, she is extremely athletic, smart, and equally tough. In college she played basketball and was an assistant basketball coach. She also doubled as a wild land fire fighter and later worked with the disabled and the handicapped.

Sarona’s burning desire has been to follow in her father’s footsteps. Her dream was to step in that wrestling ring, and to someday entertain wrestling fans worldwide. In June 2009, she received the honor of being the first recipient of the Lia Maivia scholarship in memory of her late aunt, from Usos Foundation to train at the Wild Samoan Wrestling Training Center.

In three short months her dream has become a reality with her debut in Minneola, FL- the home base of WXW Wrestling. Sarona has a bright future in pro wrestling and fans will love her kind but tough ring presence.

Fans of womens wrestling -Sarona Snuka will be one of the Elite 8 women to participate in the 7th annual WXW Elite 8 Tournament which will take place at the Minneola Receration Center in Minneola, FL on November 14th. Also participating in this event will be Daffney, Betsy Ruth, Leva, Lorelei Lee, Lace, Jennifer Blake, and Rain. Complete information on the history of the Elite 8 and WXW Wrestling show dates can be found at: http://www.wxwwrestling.com

If there are any Chatterboxers who live in Minneola, Florida and are reading my column, I hope we can count on your support to re-elect our mayor David Yeager. Here is an open letter that I wrote and proudly inserted into our WXW wrestling program. I'd like to share it with you:

Open Letter to Mayor David Yeager

Dear Mayor Yeager:

As we celebrate our one year anniversary of hosting WXW Wrestling events at the City Hall, we would like to thank you for all of your help and support in what we do.

You are a hands-on Mayor who truly cares about our community and who is not afraid to welcome different events into Minneola so our community can go out and have fun with their loved ones.

When we were approaching our first live event there were many who did not want us to bring our family oriented pro wrestling into the recreation center, but you gave us your 100% support and we are truly thankful to you.

You have also gone above and beyond to help us secure our wrestling training camp here in Minneola, and we can't thank you enough for that and we hope and pray that the people in Minneola re-elect you as our mayor for many more years ahead..

WXW and all our fans are lucky to have you as our Mayor!

Respectfully yours,

Afa “The Wild Samoan” Anoa`i

RE-ELECT Mayor David Yeager!

In closing, I'd like to wish a very happy birthday to my son Afa Jr. and my nephew Solo "The Hamo Bull".

Until next month, God bless.

Afa "The Wild Samoan"

Official WXW 8/29/09 RESULTS

Last night (8/28), WXW management and wrestlers, dressed to the hilt, showed up in Kissimmee at the FCW Show. WXW wanted to continue to send a message, as they did last week when FCW ran in WXW's building, the Leesburg Armory. In Kissimmee, FCW promptly called upon security, and the local POLICE, to ensure WXW did not enter the building. WXW proved a point, that no one disrespects our organization. WXW was escorted away from the building by these officials and was not allowed in.

A large Leesburg crowd was on hand to see a night of WXW Action!

Afa the Wild Samoan came to the ring to congratulate two of the newest graduates of the Wild Samoan Training Center, LACE and TNT Motley. TNT made his debut last week in Minneola in a losing effort to WOLF. LACE debuted last month in Leesburg, defeating LEVA. As Afa was congratulating TNT Motley, RICO MOON made his way out. Rico told TTN Motley that he would welcome him to the big leagues the proper way. This led to another Rico Moon protégé being intrduced, Trent the Eliminator!

1) TNT Motley def. Trent the Eliminator
Motley was able to score his FIRST EVER WXW victory by pinning Trent with a spinning DDT!

2) WOLF w/Rico Moon and The Puerto Rican Hound Dogg wrestled to a 10 minute DRAW.

3) The team of Sulu Afi & Mike Cruz def. The British Lions
The Lions made their WXW debut and had an impressive showing against the makeshift team of Sulu and Cruz. Excellent back and forth action, but in the end Sulu was able to nail a top rope headbutt for the pin!

4) WXW Cruiserweight Champion Jerrelle Clark def. Gu$ Money!
Excellent action in this contest and both men once again pulled out all the stops! Gus was cashing in his contract for a title shot anytime, anyplace, but was unable to capture the gold from Jerrelle!

--Intermission--

5) WXW Hardcore Champion KING HAKU def. Da Biff
A a very stiff contest with both men really going after each other. Biff secured the services of Rico Moon since his regular manager was not able to the make it. Da Biff was able to give the Legend Haku a run for this money! Haku was finally able to overcome Da Biff after by nailing him with a devastating chair shot!

6) WXW Tag Team Champions The Hatchet City All Stars def. Deathrow & Michael Patrick to keep the belts!

7) Dylan Knight w/Candi def. WXW Heavyweight Champion Sugga via Count out.
Dylan won the No. 1 contender spot last week at WXW in Minneola. After a hard fought contest, Dylan and Sugga were fighting on the outside, Sugga charged Dyaln but Dylan moved. Sugga nailed the ring post, and was unable to make it back into the ring in time! Dylan won the match, but not the title as it cannot change hands on a count out!

8) WXW TV Champion Richard J. Criado, "The Perfect Creation" fought C.J. O'Doyle to a NO CONTEST due to outside interference.
CJ and Criado had just started their match, when a contingent of FCW wrestlers, led by Byron Saxton, hit the ring and overpowered Criado and CJ! Criado and CJ were beat down, and both had "FCW" spraypainted on their backs. FCW wanted to exact a measure of revenge for WXW crashing their party last week and spraypainting "WXW" on them! FCW ran in the Leesburg Armory last week. Then, Da Biff, Sulu Afi and Sugga hit the ring, and eventually the entire WXW locker room emptied, driving the FCW contingent out of the ring! WXW Commissioner Ricky Santana came to the ring as well, and got on the mic to tell the FCW group that they made a big mistake. Byron Saxton got on his mic (stolen from the WXW Ring Announcer) and told WXW to watch their back because now they've started something they can't finish.

The loyal WXW fans began a deafening "WXW!" chant, which caused Byron Saxton to not be heard! Then, the fans began to sing, "Na Na Na Na, Hey Hey Hey, Goodbye" to the FCW group, just as the FCW fans had done to them last week! Most certainly, an explosive situation!

WXW will return to the MINNEOLA RECREATION CENTER SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 26th for our 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY IN FLORIDA SHOW!
